ABOUT
Founder Christian D. Alcalde Pretel, MD, PhD, earned his doctorate in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and is currently a Dermatology Resident Physician on the Associate Faculty Track. He has devoted his life to academic science—uncovering basic mechanisms, coordinating translational studies, and optimizing team science in both lab and clinic. Across conversations with experts in law, medicine, economics, and engineering, he saw a pattern: the scientific problem-solving mindset is essential across disciplines—but too often blocked by siloed thinking.
CytoVox was built to challenge that. We use research-honed thinking and team-driven strategies to solve problems creatively and collaboratively. Our current work focuses on basic biological science, translational medicine, and technology development.
